New York Jets Quarterback

**Jets QB Situation: Siemian to Start Against Browns** In an unexpected turn of events, veteran quarterback Josh Siemian has been named the starter for the New York Jets' upcoming game against the Cleveland Browns. The move comes after the third benching of Zach Wilson, the Jets' 2021 first-round pick. Wilson has struggled this season, throwing for just one touchdown with five interceptions. He was benched in favor of Chris Streveler last week, but Streveler suffered an injury, leading to Siemian's opportunity. Siemian last started a game in 2019 for the Denver Broncos before being injured. He has since served as a backup for the Jets and New Orleans Saints. The Jets' quarterback situation has been in flux since the departure of Sam Darnold after the 2020 season. Ryan Fitzpatrick, Geno Smith, and Joe Flacco have all taken turns under center since then. Siemian's performance against the Browns will be closely watched as the Jets continue to search for stability at the quarterback position.
